O vestiário nos esportes coletivos
motivação, coesão e pertencimento em uma revisão integrativa

O vestiário é frequentemente tratado como espaço secundário em relação ao treino e à competição. Entretanto, nos esportes coletivos, ele constitui um ambiente informal de convivência no qual os atletas constroem vínculos, negociam papéis, compartilham emoções, desenvolvem normas e elaboram uma identidade coletiva. Este artigo analisa o valor psicossocial do vestiário e sua relação com a motivação dos atletas por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Foram consultados trabalhos acadêmicos sobre vestiário, comportamento entre companheiros, coesão, clima motivacional, identidade social, liderança, segurança psicológica, apoio social e burnout em esportes coletivos. O corpus analítico reuniu 20 estudos empíricos, revisões e meta-análises publicados entre 2008 e 2025, incluindo pesquisas diretamente relacionadas ao vestiário e estudos sobre mecanismos sociais que ocorrem nesse espaço. Os achados indicam que o vestiário não aumenta a motivação de maneira automática nem pode ser reduzido a um local físico. Seu efeito depende da qualidade das interações, da liderança, das normas coletivas e do grau de inclusão. Ambientes baseados em apoio, comunicação, reconhecimento e pertencimento favorecem a motivação autodeterminada, a coesão, a segurança psicológica, o compromisso e a disposição para enfrentar situações competitivas. Em contrapartida, exclusão, rivalidade, humilhação, bullying, panelinhas e comportamentos antissociais podem produzir ansiedade, burnout, isolamento e afastamento esportivo. Conclui-se que o vestiário deve ser compreendido como uma dimensão estratégica da preparação esportiva e da gestão das equipes, embora ainda sejam necessárias pesquisas longitudinais e estudos que isolem diretamente seus efeitos.
